Helping AmeriCares, Vietnam Veterans of America, and Habitat for Humanity of Greater Los Angeles get much needed supplies is as free and simple as clicking over to https://www.Soaps-for-Hope.com.  This is where Facebook fans of Ton Savon, a leading manufacturer of bath and beauty products from the South of France, can have the company donate a bar of soap to each of these organizations on their behalf.

“Ton Savon is excited to have this opportunity to support three organizations dedicated to making a difference in our world,” notes Dana DeVorzon, CEO of Ton Savon.  “We are empowering Ton Savon’s fans to also help make an impact and affect the lives of others with a single click while building awareness for our Soaps for Hope partners.”

AmeriCares is a nonprofit disaster relief and humanitarian aid organization which provides immediate response to emergency medical needs – and supports long-term humanitarian assistance programs – for all people around the world, irrespective of race, creed or political persuasion.  Soaps donated by Ton Savon will be distributed to survivors of devastating disasters, civil conflict or crushing poverty.  More information is available at https://www.americares.org.

“In times of emergency, when families are forced from their homes to emergency shelters and camps, soap helps prevent the spread of disease and restores a sense of personal dignity,” said AmeriCares Director of Emergency Response Garrett Ingoglia. “Thanks to Ton Savon, we’ll pre-position thousands of bars of soap in our warehouse, where they’ll be ready to ship to disaster survivors around the world and across the U.S.”

Founded in 1978, Vietnam Veterans of America is the only national Vietnam veterans organization congressionally chartered and exclusively dedicated to Vietnam-era veterans and their families.  Soaps donated to V.V.A. will be provided to veterans through V.V.A. partner support centers.  Visit www.VVA.org to learn more or www.clothingdonations.org to schedule a free pickup at your home of clothing and supply donations.

“We applaud Ton Savon, both for its generous donation of soap and for its efforts to bring attention to the service, sacrifice, and unmet needs of America’s veterans,” said John Rowan, VVA national president.  “Those who answered our nation’s call in defense of our Constitution are richly deserving, and we are grateful to Ton Savon for its leadership in ensuring that our veterans are not forgotten when they return home.”

Shelter is a basic human need and Habitat for Humanity of Greater Los Angeles strives to achieve its goal of eliminating substandard housing across Greater Los Angeles and around the world by partnering with low-income families and individuals to build decent, sustainable and affordable housing. Soaps donated by Ton Savon will be included in “Welcome Home” baskets for the new partner homeowners, each of whom must invest between 200-500 hours of sweat equity to help build their home and be able to pay back a zero-interest mortgage. Visit www.habitatla.org for more information.

“Habitat for Humanity of Greater Los Angeles thanks Ton Savon and its fans for helping us to provide our new partner homeowners with a beautiful basket filled with gifts that will bring them happiness and warmth in their new homes,” said Erin Rank, President & CEO of Habitat for Humanity of Greater Los Angeles.

Ton Savon has set up a special app on the Soaps for Hope tab of the company Facebook page where fans click to request the three-soap donation on their behalf, help spread the word so others will join in, and learn more about the organizations they are supporting.  Participants are also encouraged to share their Message of Hope for a better world.  The Soaps for Hope promotion will continue while supplies last.  Updates will be posted on the Ton Savon Facebook timeline and tweeted @TonSavon.

Each 8oz bar of French soap donated is 100% natural, 80% organic, and long-lasting.  Ton Savon has formulated many prestige brands sold in boutiques such as Sephora and Anthropologie, as well as high-quality private label and exclusive natural HBC products for market leading natural food stores, grocery, drug, and club chains including Trader Joe’s and Costco. TON SAVON UNVEILS AMERICA’S ONLY USDA CERTIFIED PRIVATE LABEL FRENCH ORGANIC SOAP

Ton Savon, a leading manufacturer of private label bath and beauty products from the South of France, today introduced the only French NOP (National Organic Program) USDA certified organic soap. Samples of the 100% natural – 85% organic soaps were revealed at the company’s booth (#7401) on the exhibit floor of the Private Label Manufacturers Association (PLMA) Show at the Rosemont Convention Center in Chicago.

The USDA’s NOP regulates the term “organic” as it applies to agricultural products including cosmetics and personal care that meets their standards. Accreditations earned overseas are specifically conducted by NOP-certified inspectors following U.S. guidelines.  As the sole soap production facility to pass NOP certification in France, the center of the world’s beauty industry, Ton Savon is proud to offer the only French soap in America recognized by the USDA’s National Organic Program.

Ton Savon’s organic soaps are 100% natural and crafted in the South of France free of any preservatives, colorants, or chemicals and blended with essential oils or natural fragrances.  As part of the NOP certification, Ton Savon can now also offer private label organic liquid soaps, shampoos, conditioners, body lotions, shower gels, shea butter and lip balm bearing the sought-after USDA Organic seal.

Obtaining organic certification recognized by the USDA for products created domestically or overseas is a process that has not been taken by the vast majority of personal care manufacturers.  The NOP initiatives protect consumers from misuse of the term “organic” and make identifying organics in the marketplace easy.

“There are several health and beauty brands that use the term ‘organic’ in a way that could be misleading to consumers,” notes Dana DeVorzon, CEO of Ton Savon. “Because the word ‘organic’ is not regulated in the U.S. for personal care products, many products use ‘organic’ in their brand name or label with only a small percentage of certified organic ingredients and even sometimes containing harmful ingredients. We hope that one day organic personal care products will have the same regulation that food does.”

Ton Savon has formulated many prestige brands sold in boutiques such as Sephora and Anthropologie, as well as high-quality private label and exclusive natural and organic HBC products for market leading natural food stores, grocery, drug, and club chains including Trader Joe’s and Costco.  Ton Savon’s exclusive ability to provide private label soap from France with the phrase “made with organic ingredients” gives retailers another reason to turn to the company already recognized for 100% vegetable triple milled soaps and other luxurious formulations for face, body, hair and home.  Ton Savon also has its own consumer brand of organic soaps certified by the USDA, Pure Provence, which provides retailers with a turnkey solution for offering organic soaps from France.

More information about Ton Savon can found at tonsavon.com or by visiting the company’s booth (#7401) now through November 15 on the exhibit floor of the PLMA Show at the Rosemont Convention Center in Chicago.  For more than 30 years, the annual PLMA trade show has been the industry event of the year where supermarkets, drug chains, mass merchandisers, wholesalers, importers and exporters, discounters and convenience stores, even military exchanges, have come to find products and suppliers. More than 3,000 exhibit booths are presenting at this year’s show.

Ton Savon, a leading manufacturer of private label health and beauty products from the South of France, has earned certification from the USDA’s National Organic Program (NOP), making it the only company in the world which can offer French organic soap in the United States bearing USDA NOP certification.

NOP is the U.S. government’s official regulating body for use of the term “organic” for products sold within the United States.  NOP does not accept foreign organic accreditations from the European Union or France, which is the heart of the world’s bath and beauty industry.  As the only soap production facility in France to earn NOP certification directly, Ton Savon’s private label soap is the only the French soap the USDA recognizes as made with organic ingredients.

NOP has organic certification exchange agreements with only a handful of countries and does not recognize independent organic certifiers in the United States either.  Retailers selling private label organic soap should consider auditing their suppliers to ensure they are in compliance with the USDA.  The NOP initiatives protect consumers from misuse of the term “organic” and make identifying organics in the marketplace easy.

As part of the NOP certification, Ton Savon can now also offer private label organic liquid soaps, shampoos, conditioners, body lotions, shower gels, shea butter and even lip balm bearing the sought-after USDA Organic seal.

“We felt it was important for Ton Savon to go through the process of earning NOP certification for our retailers and their customers,” notes Vincent Elhaik, Senior Vice President of Ton Savon.  “Retailers now have a supplier they can turn to for organic soaps from France without the risk of controversy from the USDA.”

Ton Savon has formulated many prestige brands sold in boutiques such as Sephora and Anthropologie, as well as high-quality private label and exclusive natural and organic HBC products for market leading natural food stores, grocery, drug, and club chains including Trader Joes and Costco.  Ton Savon’s exclusive ability to provide private label soap from France with the phrase “made with organic ingredients” gives retailers another reason to turn to the company already recognized for 100% vegetable triple milled soaps and other luxurious formulations for face, body, hair and home.  Ton Savon’s own organic consumer brand, Pure Provence, will also roll out a new label touting adherence to NOP standards.  This provides retailers with a turnkey solution for offering organic soaps from France.

More information about Ton Savon can found at tonsavon.com or by visiting the company’s booth (#7401) in Chicago from November 13-15 on the exhibit floor of the PLMA Show at the Rosemont Convention Center.  For more than 30 years, PLMA’s annual trade show has been the industry event of the year where supermarkets, drug chains, mass merchandisers, wholesalers, importers and exporters, discounters and convenience stores, even military exchanges, have come to find products and suppliers. More than 2,000 exhibit booths are presenting at this year’s show.
